TripleKey, a Platform for Trust
We are on a mission to educate people about a problem and provide software to keep companies, partners, and customers safe in an evolving threat landscape.
Our History
TripleKey was founded by Paul Mathews. Paul is a West Point graduate with a degree in engineering who has served as a CTO all over the world. Aside from building products in complex and highly regulated industries, his specialty was quickly accessing risk and team performance. Paul’s main issue was there were too many companies asking for his help but he could only be in one spot at a time. TripleKey was born.
The TripleKey solution has been used to help eliminate product risk, technical debt, verify ownership, and analyze teams in billion dollar transactions.
The company was officially formed on December 27, 2023 and included experts in software, healthcare, finance, operations, and communications.
Problem
‘We don’t have a cybersecurity problem. We have a software quality problem. We have a multi-billion dollar cybersecurity industry because for decades, technology vendors have been allowed to create defective, insecure, flawed software.”
Jen Easterly, Director of CISA (07/2021 - 01/2025)
Transparency drives decisions and currently, the software development process is not understood by the rest of the company or their partners.
It’s criminal that non-technical executives don’t understand what’s going on inside their software, partners don’t understand the risk of integration and customers have zero visibility into the safety of their data. – Paul Mathews | Founder & CTO of TripleKey
The current solutions are limited, expensive, disliked by developers and only understood by technologists. There are numerous certifications like SOC2, HITRUST, ISO 27001 but these are snapshots into policies and procedures, not ongoing and evolving risks inside the codebase. Most, if not all of the high visibility breaches happened to organizations with these credentials.
Traditional cybersecurity and certifications are no longer enough. To read more about why this is the case and the issue TripleKey solves, here is an article from Patrick Opet, Chief Information Security Officer at J.P. Morgan Chase
Mission
TripleKey’s mission is to help organizations build safer products for their customers, integrated partners and industry.
We accomplish this through daily forensic monitoring of risk, IP/ownership, and team performance.
